E-commerce Tracking Setup and Audit

Know exactly which sales your ads bring in. We audit and fix the tracking on your online store: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, the Meta pixel and Conversions API, and consent. One fixed price: $570.

Every sale counted once, with the right value, in every tool. Done by the people who run ads every day, in English and French.

Why tracking comes before ads

Google and Meta decide who sees your ads based on the sales your store reports to them. When that data is missing, doubled or wrong, the platforms optimize for the wrong people, and you make budget decisions on numbers that aren’t real.

What we find most often on stores we audit: two tools sending the same events to one Google Analytics property, so sessions and add-to-carts are counted about twice and conversion rates look half as good as they are. A price like “$18,500” recorded as 18.5. Analytics firing before the visitor accepts cookies. Meta’s automatic events adding noise. Add-to-carts sent twice per click. None of it shows up unless someone looks.

What good tracking gets you

Ads that learn faster

Clean purchase data with the right value lets Google and Meta find more buyers like your best customers, instead of people who only click.

Budget decisions you can trust

See which campaigns, products and channels actually make money, so you cut what doesn’t and spend more on what does.

More sales attributed

The Meta Conversions API and server-side tracking recover sales that browsers and ad blockers hide from the pixel, so fewer sales go uncounted.

Numbers that match your store

Revenue in Google Analytics close to what Shopify shows, no double counting, and a clear note of what each tool can and can’t see.

Law 25 covered

Tags that wait for consent, with Google Consent Mode, so you collect data the right way in Quebec.

What’s included for $570

  • Full auditof every tag, pixel and app on your store: what’s installed, what fires twice, what sends the wrong value, what fires without consent.
  • Google Analytics 4: e-commerce events from product view to purchase, with value, currency and order ID, and duplicates removed.
  • Google Ads: purchase conversion with the right value, enhanced conversions, and the link with Google Analytics and Merchant Center.
  • Meta: pixel and Conversions API sending the same events with a shared ID, so Meta counts each sale once, and automatic events turned off.
  • Consent: your cookie banner connected to Google Consent Mode and the Shopify privacy settings.
  • Test ordersin French and English, checked in every tool.
  • A short written summary: what we found, what we changed, and how to check it yourself.

Server-side tracking with Stape is available as an add-on, quoted after the audit. See how we set it up in our server-side tracking case study.

Tracking FAQ

How much does the tracking setup and audit cost?

$570 plus taxes, one time. That covers the audit and the setup or fixes for Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversions, the Meta pixel and Conversions API, and consent. No monthly fee.

Which platforms do you work with?

Mostly Shopify, and also WooCommerce and custom sites. On the tracking side: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Merchant Center and Klaviyo.

Do I need server-side tracking?

Not always. For many stores, the Shopify Google and Meta apps set up correctly are enough. If you spend a lot on Meta or lose many sales to ad blockers, server-side tracking with Stape can help. We tell you after the audit and quote it separately if you need it. Stape’s hosting fee is paid to Stape directly.

Will this break my current tracking or my ads?

No. We look before we change anything, we test with real orders, and we keep a way back for every change. Your campaigns keep running during the work.

Is the tracking compliant with Quebec Law 25?

We set it up so marketing and analytics tags respect the visitor’s choice in your cookie banner, with Google Consent Mode. We’re not lawyers: for your privacy policy itself, check with yours.

Do you also run the ads?

Yes, if you want. But the tracking service stands on its own: many clients keep their own ads team, or run their ads themselves, and just want numbers they can trust.

  • “They quadrupled my revenue in the first 3 months of working with them.”

Nicolas L. Google review, translated from French

  • “They know their stuff when it comes to paid media.”

    Maxime A. Google review

  • “Amazing service and understanding of what I wanted. Executed to perfection.”

    Chantz G. Google review
