What we collect and why

The contact form. Your email (required) and, if you fill them in, your first name, website, monthly ad budget, when you want to start, what you need help with and your message. We add the page you wrote from and, if you came from a service page, the offer you clicked (for example “Free Google Ads audit”). We use this to answer you and prepare for a first call.
Downloading a checklist. Your email (required), the checklist you downloaded and the page you downloaded it from. We use this to follow up about that checklist. If you tick the box for it, we also send you our new checklists and guides by email, about once a month; every email has an unsubscribe link. The box is never ticked in advance.
Your emails and calls. If you email or call us directly, we receive what you send us, so we can answer.
Booking a call. Our booking page is a Google Calendar page. Google collects the name and email you enter there and passes the booking to us. Google’s privacy policy applies to that page.
Visit statistics, only if you agree. See the cookies section below.
Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic details of each request to show the site and protect it from abuse.

We don’t ask for any sensitive information. The site is not meant for children.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google’s consent mode. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics.

Until you accept: no Google Analytics cookies are set. The Google tag still loads, and Google may receive basic cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed), with no identifier stored on your device.
If you accept: Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga) to count visits and see which pages help people. We also measure form sends and clicks on our phone number, email address and booking link.
Either way: advertising storage stays off. We don’t use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.

Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), under the name nexa-consent. Your light or dark mode choice is kept the same way.

Changing your mind: (the link is also at the bottom of every page). If you withdraw your consent, analytics stops and we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We use a few providers to run the site and answer your messages:

Web3Forms receives what you type in the contact form and the download form, and emails it to us.
Google: Google Workspace hosts our email inbox, where form messages and your emails arrive; Google Analytics (only if you agree); Google Calendar for bookings.
Cloudflare hosts the website.

We never sell, rent or trade personal information. We don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

These providers may store or process information outside Quebec, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and your emails as long as we need them to answer you and, if we work together, to follow up on our business relationship. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Google Analytics keeps detailed event data for 2 months and user-level data for up to 14 months, then deletes it automatically.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS and the form is sent over an encrypted connection. Messages arrive in our info@nexasolutions.ca inbox, which only Nexa’s two partners, Donovan Rood and Cedric Baril, read.

Your rights

Under Quebec law, you can:

ask whether we hold personal information about you, and get access to it;
have inaccurate, incomplete or unclear information corrected;
withdraw your consent, for example to analytics;
ask us to delete information we no longer need;
ask us to stop disseminating your information or to de-index a link attached to your name, where the law allows it;
receive the computerized information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Complaints

If you’re not happy with our answer, please write to us first: we want to fix it. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

The site links to other sites (our Google reviews, our social media, the booking page). Their own privacy policies apply.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
